About the ‘Classics’: Celebrating the Past and Supporting the Future

Classic Wallabies Inc. is the official alumni of all male and female Australian rugby union players that have retired from the game, having represented Australia internationally in either 15’s, 10’s or 7’s formats. A network of over 500 living retired players that remain connected, and unite for various events and activities.

The Classic Wallabies stand for Community, both within the game of Rugby and across Australia’s many and diverse towns and cities. We particularly focus our efforts on rural and regional communities, to provide people with a game in which those of all shapes, sizes and backgrounds can participate, regardless of their skill-level. Some great examples of that are the match and coaching clinics in Toowoomba in March 2025 to support Downs Rugby, the 2023 match and activities in Wagga and throughout the Southern Inland region to help Wagga Wagga Crows Junior Rugby Union Club raise over $80,000, and an epic week in Central Queensland in 2021 supporting Beef Australia and the regions clubs and schools.

Additionally, we have a consistent program of community engagement in metropolitan areas that supports the Wallabies test schedule, providing fantastic national & international reach for Classic Wallabies and our partners.
